Well there you go... didn't know you could get a 4wd transit![]()
So its Sunday morning, Cheryl and I were just about to head down to the Coffee Club, looking forward to some Eggs Benedict, when the phone rang. After a quick debate in my head weather to answer, I picked up, it was Wayne, Trevor his mate has been having some fun with his kids. Unfortunately he had two problems; he has had too much fun, and was driving his 4wd Transit Van.
So Cheeky was requested to run down to the bottom of a hill, somewhere on the Gold Coast to snatch Trevor and his broken Transit up and out of trouble.
Trevor had lost his balls in a creek, so with a broken CV. He still had drive to the rear, and seeing as he was using an Atlas Transfer, he had Low Range rear wheel drive.
But having a fairly steep hill to climb he was stuck.
So seeing has we were heading over to Harry’s that arvo anyway, I gave him a call to join the adventure
We found Trevor
Hooked him up
Cheeky gets ready
Harry directs Trevor
and up he comes
Land Rovers can rescue even a busted big ass Transit Van.
Trevor safely recovered, as we were leaving we run Baffel testing his D2
After a chat it was off to Harry's for some BBQ sausages and a cleansing drink.Job done.
