    New baby!

Well, it had to happen sometime.......

No, it does not wear a nappy and does not scream at night - although it does mark it's territory and does make a fair noise, and i suppose will cost me the same as a teenager anyway....

    It's a series 11a SWB ute

So thanks must go to Weeds for selling it, and also Josh for driving it down for me while I followed in the fender with fuel and spanners (good thing we had the fuel!!!! )

It does need a bit of work as like a normal kid it's all over the place, stops only occasionally, indicates when it feels like it, smokes and leaves a mess everywhere . But it is at my place now and will be touched up as time goes by - hopefully some of the club members can lend a hand as i'm fairly new to the "series renovation" genre.

Thanks must go to people who offered the use of their trailer but as mentioned we drove it home, but thanks for the offer anyway (won't mention names but you know who you are)

Also my sincere apologies to Treads - i was going to get your shorty, but went through an extremely busy period and had no time to do anything about it, so sorry for leaving you hanging and hope to buy you a beer someday to make amends. At least it has now gone to a person that has the ability to do a proper job on it and restore it to what it should be.

Now I am looking forward to fix a few bugs and join in on the leaf-sprung trips of the club

Yes i know - pics........ i'm not good with those but will see what i can do

Welcome to the series club Louis! I can find no rational explanation but they grow on you .

I was looking seriously at that one but decided that I just had too many cars already and no where to put them all. We should have some pretty good turnouts now on a leaf sprung run, though Weeds had planned to get that one out with us anyway. Look forward to seeing you out there in it.

Oh, and yes there is lots of help if you need it .
