Hey Tim, I can't really comment on the early morning temperatures on the Island, but the first few days were freezing. As soon as the sun starts to drop in the afternoon and with the clear skies the temperature dropped - I know I feel the cold but everyone commented about the temps. Monday at dusk when I got back from fishing I couldn't feel my feet and it hurt to walk on the concrete - they eventually thawed with a hot shower, and no fish were caught that day.

There are fish about though, fresh fish for dinner last night thank goodness I had plenty of veges to make up a reasonable feed.
