    Depends on where the manufacturer measures the tyre. Some measure the overall tyre, some measure the case. Michelin is one example that spec tyre size on the case.

    Tyres ain't tyres.

    Creepys also crown int he centre and I beleive this crown is taken into their measurment. Hence being a small 35 & 37 when compared to other tyres ie. Bias Treps.

    I would have thought that the diameter of the tyre also changes according to the width of the rim that it is on.

    You are all missing the point







    The most important thing is that my wife still believes that
    this 0--------------------------------6" is really 6 inches.
