Help identify missing Stage One part

OK I have the dash going together on the Stage One/Series rangie hybrid - Bumblebee - and I seem to be missing a part. I have the part but I just don't know where it is and I don't know what I am looking for.

    Can anyone help?

Below you wll see the inside of the centre dash (gauges yet to go back in). In the middle in front of the vents there are three screws (at the bottom centre near the vents) and two holes at the top and something was attached here - the problem is what? Somewhere at my place is the part but I don't know what I am looking for as the parts were never screwed/tapped together as they came off.

All suggestions welcome - pics would be great so I know what to look for.

What's the dash/firewall out of? Looks to me like needs a military panel there with the blackout switches etc.

You're looking for two pieces of metal, one roughly triangular, that form a secondary switch and gauge panel facing the driver.

Thanks Langy - I have the secondary gauge panel (see below) that is upholstered and screws into the holes to the left and right of the 3 gauge holes on the lower dash.

What I can’t find is the part that screws behind the lower dash and it will be behind the secondary gauge panel - area indicated in the following picture

Panel is from a Stage One/Series 3 about 1986 ish - Original dash shown here

    Thanks Skiboy

Thanks Mick - would you have a better/closer picture?
Do you know if it is made of metal or Plastic?
Is it just a flat section?

I'll be able to get a better picture later tonight.
It's in two pieces of folded steel sheet.
If you're using that other panel, I wouldn't bother with it but the panel will block air flow through the vents.

    Mick - thanks
The gauge panel and all the dash came from the same vehicle - as pictured in the last picture in the post at top.

So the part was installed and I suspect would redirect vent air to the sides - it annoys me more that not in the box of bits and not sure what looking for exactly as I did not take it apart.

If all else fails I was going to make a flat gal steel sheet and put in between the 3 lower screws and two upper screw holes as marked in the pic. I wanted it as I think this is where I may mount the computer for the engine management system.
