hey there

could not find much on the web.......chasing some suggestions of places to go for australia day on the coast.....

nice big park with shade would be nice, near water would be nicer....some activities would be really cool

Bands, fireworks etc

Evandale Council Chambers (beside GC Arts Centre) on Bundall Rd. Bundall is usually a good day out... activities, entertainment, damper

Just get in early to find a spot. I've been a few times.

how much room is down at the spit these days

i also thought of the water front where the gold coast marathon sets up

spit would be full i assume unless you get in early... if a good day then boaties will be out in force.

Nice new broadwater foreshore at southport though not too much shade cover but good if taking gazebo etc.
