    Off and on road tyres

    Off and on road tyres?
My Defender has some Coopers fitted and they are ok but noisy and a bit worn with a fair bit of heal and toe damage.
What should I get and pay.Cost and value for money is a priority.

Had a set of 753's (235/85/16) on my previous fender. They are a hard compound rubber and will last for at least 60-70,000 k (if not more) with mixed use.

They may look aggressive but they are not. I found them to be very quiet with closer spacing of centre lugs. When aired down the outer lugs give good grip and moderate self cleaning in mud.

Think they are 3ply side wall too. If they came in 255/85/16 I would not hesitate to use them again. May not be sexy for some but I loved them.

    Paid $230ea bout 18mths ago.

    Hi,
They sound good. Just wondering what they'd be like on extended dirt road/corrugations. Did they chip a lot from having a harder compound?
