What should I fit for a front recovery point?
I have a winch bar on the defender but other than that only the tiedown points on the chassie.

I just rang Sam from ARB Nundah regarding the front "recovery points" on my Defender. He said they were not for recovery but for towing on the blacktop or up onto a tow vehicle. He said there were not too many options for the front of most "modern" 4x4's.
So I rang MR Auto, they have front recovery points maxi drive "tow hooks" which they said should be used in conjunction with a equalizer strap.
Hope this helps, it's what I will be doing tomorrow as we leave for the Cape on Friday!
