Yes I think so Too, that and Pete's answer has made up my mind

I have two choices of underdrive box 2.7:1 (final Drive Ratio 79.8) or 4:1 Underdrive = Final Drive of 118.2
The Stock-ish final drive as it sits now is 35.2

I was thinking that 118 might be too much.. Thanks Guys for seting me straight

Additional up side of the 4:1 Underdrive is that it gives three choices of Final Drive Ratio of 35.2, 43.8 and 118.2

Judging from the great example at the side of you house yesterday, me thinks you understand more than you let on

I have an Underdrive and 4.1 diff centres in my Defender and a final drive ratio of 135:1 and love it
And as Pete says,it is great to be able to just idle up places where previously you had to put your foot down.

And seeing that the truck is only a 200Tdi,it is great to be able to bring the revs up in a low gear to bring the turbo on,and still be doing no more that walking pace
Once you have had one,you won't go back
