Rubber bushes for fuel tank mount.

Hi guys a quick question for our Series gurus out there. When stripping my vehicle down and removing the fuel tank there were a couple of bolts that hold the tank to the chassis that appear to have had a rubber bush around them, I would imagine to stop vibration. Of the course the rubber pieces were well and truly perished and one of the nuts snapped when coming out.
Does anyone know if these can be obtained from anywhere? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks Shepp

    Hi Shepp,

I did ask once at FWD but they don't have them. Didn't bother with anywhere else, I just got bolts and nuts that fit with some reasonable sized washers and put a strip of the sealing rubber that you can buy at Bunnings for doing things like sealing windows between the two metal bits. It might be possible to buy the proper bushes and bolts from the UK but I don't think it is really needed.

    Cheers,

    Tim.

Thanks Tim yes I might have to do that. I tried to look on a few UK websites but couldn't find anything.
