    South Ballina NYE

A few of us are heading down to South Ballina for New Years, and we have a spare camp site available if anyone is interested.
We intend to camp for up to 4 nights down there.
We will be staying at the large grassed area at the rear of the Ballina Sea Breeze Caravan Park.
website: Ballina Sea Breeze | Home
The park has a pool, clean toilet facilities and 1 km from the beach.
The sites we have are not powered.
Some are heading down on Thursday 27th, and we will be heading down on Sat 29th of Dec.
We will go for a drive on the beach etc etc and just kick back.
There will be light entertainment available on NYE, organized by the park.

You are very welcome to join us.
    Cheers Dave

    Trip Report

We arrived at the Camping Ground at around 2pm local time
I had a look around, could not find any Rovers
So we took off down the Beach.
The tide was running out nicely

After a nice drive we came across the Coffee Rocks
Had a play then made our way to Evans Heads

Just as we were running out of beach, we came across a gaggle of Rovers parked on the soft sand.

One of our group was on a time schedule, so we drove him off the beach and used the public toilet located just off the beach.

Returning to Dave and the gang, we all headed back to Balina, with another go at the Coffee Rocks.

It was then time for us to have Pizza at Bangalow. Yum

    Great Day out..

For those who camped , how did you put up with the mozzies ? They been out in force for a couple of months . Glenn told me they were a few families that left because of them little bloodsuckers .

Mozzies were real bad. Lots of spray, and large fires to keep the buggers away.
