So whats the plan ?.. where are you going and staying? https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ Any thoughts? https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
okay my thoughts so far are leave GC early friday morning say around 6am... Jump on a barge at Inskip Point around 11 then shoot up the beach until we find a nice secluded spot behind a dune for camping.
Setup camp by 1pm, have lunch then go exploring the island till sunday when we start packing up around lunchtime and head back.
Planning on having everyone completely self sufficient (a necessity when camping on the beachfront and not in grounds)... and completely open to suggestions and majority vote on what we actually do https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
How's that for a very vague and brief start to the discussion 8)
I'm interested in the Fraser trip, I will watch for further information as we get closer to the date.

Sounds great. Only 1 problem, I have a 2yo daughter, and QPWS recommends people with young children camp in the fenced campgrounds so as to not be dingo bait. It's quit possible it's a beat up though. 8o
We're of course just one car's worth... so let's see what everyone else is up for https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
Steinzy,
You have me seriously thinking about this trip now. But will only go if you will be able to make it
Since you have given me some curry about sand driving https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

Who else is keen on this? Then we can start discussing people requirements and thoughts on what we do. 8)
I'm keen and might bring one of my boys - Andrew who will be 2 & 3 months. I've never been before though so anyone got anything to say about bringing the wee man so I can make a more informed decision? I see Captian Rightfoot, you are thinking about bringing your daughter, anyone else bringing kids, if so then let us know as this will be a major part of trip planning for all concerned:lol:
Aye, Mick
Hey All,
I am also interested in this trip, just have to work a few things out. If I were to go Id be definately bringing my 9 & 7 yr olds whom some of you met yesteday, plus I also be looking at bring my almost 3 yr old. So as Captain Rightfoot pointed out would be interested to know the go with enclosed area's etc. Also I have zip camping gear, so if anyone can point me in right direction for getting gear ie tents etc, that would be great. Bit too early for an offroad camper at this stage https://www.aulro.com/afvb/,
