<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>It will be great weekend for the club.[/b][/quote] Yeah it will be, plus personally for myself 1st time camping in gee at least 18+ yrs, ie never as an adult :?, and 1st time with my 2 oldest children ( 7&9) . So am counting down the days. Whilst I am still at the looking what I need stage, and this is probably a dumb question 8O , but hey, I guess we need to bring our own water?? If so how much would one need for the time on the island. Also with the beastie, no doubt it is going to suck juice like there is no tomorrow, so is there a) fuel on the island or fuel just before we get on as I want to fill up to the brim before getting onto the island. Other than that, just excited ,

    Regards

You can fill up before you go on the barge, and also you can get petrol at 3 or 4 places on the island... like Eurong and Happy valley (see map I linked earlier). Be warned though... It's EXPENSIVE
As to water... depends how clean you want to be I would think you'd want to take at least a 20. You can get more at one of the campgrounds

Some valid questions being asked for this trip - can I suggest a discussion during our next meeting to include possible equipment requirements and general info on camping on Fraser. This way everyone going knows what they will require to bring and what they can expect.

Maybe we can combine this into the Recovery point, GPS day?

    Just a thought, Mick
