Rover Park is it a definate goer?

I wont **** on Stevo's bonfire so, come on Stevo....where's the Monday morning count down

Okay, so far we have the following leaving from the Weigh Station just past Tweed heads. Let me know if anyone else will be joining us in convoy otherwise we shall see you all there.

1. Dranged + family
2. Mick G + Family
3. Loadedisco

Plan is to get there, scout out a camp site or appropriate site (depending on numbers, we may find ourselves in separate sections). Once we find a suitable site, we will inform the reception or check in where GCLRO are staying.
I would suggest other clubs and individuals do the same as I'm not sure if people will be contactable in the park on radio from reception - I'm only guessing though as I have never been before.

For those booking ANY accomodation within the park over the phone or when you arrive to check in, a 10% discount has been agreed with the owners so simply mention your club and you should be right.....I just spoke to them a second ago to confirm this and all is good and they have been made aware that AULRO, GCLRO, LROC, RRCQ will be arriving at various intervals over the weekend.
They don't normally give a discount over public holidays, but as this was discussed with them some weeks ago, they will honour their initial offer over this weekend.

Looking forward to a cracking weekend for both the kids, and families coming......of course the real kids will be off driving the tracks all day leaving the grown ups to take care of their own nappies and feeds :wink:

Also looking forward to meeting some new faces and getting to know the familiar ones better......names tags at the ready :wink:

Hardy and myself will travel down together (meeting point yet to be decided, somewhere around Moorooka)

I am sure if any one else is leaving Bris around 9am Friday morning they would be more than welcome to travel with us

Yep that time is getting closer people, make sure you have ya things checked and check em twice, fuel, supplies, clothes etc. Why??? Because it is only 4 MORE SLEEPS TO GO, yep thats right for you lucky people going off to traverse unknown territory, down some beverages ( would sugest throwing in some spirits to warm the cockles :wink: ) and meet no doubt some new and wonderful people. So stay tuned for the rest of the countdown

Good work Stevo, shame you can't make it but you can be sure that myself and 'm sure a few other will make up for the drink that you would otherwise consume..............something about camping that makes me very thirsty :wink:

At this stage GCLRO have about 9 cars penciled in although some are yet to confirm. Haven't heard back from Matt as to exact numbers from RRCQ and I believe LROC has another trip on this weekend...so to answer your question, not entirely sure but we should have a few hopefully.

Matt, Hilary & 5 children 8O (22,16,7,5,3) Bingo!
Hardy & his troupe
Trav (or else) - but he belongs to every club, so we can cut him into 3rds
Couple no 1
Couple no 2 with 2 children

and a couple of confirmations.

I will have firm numbers tonight (after the committee meeting). Didn't I say that last month ops:
