Get some decent rims (16 inch) and **** those soft cock 18's off .

You'll be better off in pocket and have more optioons to choose from. 18's are a waste of space on any 4WD IMO

But I'm not for bling bling crap, keep it simple is my idea of an off-road vehicle. Please don't take my comments as offense, just as a twisted opinion of yours truly

Understand what you have to say Trav but I like the Bling wheels and could not be bothered with changing wheels to go off road. The car dose bugger all road driving now as work is only 3 mins away and I wont be travelling to the centre of Australia, though if fuel prices went down I might.

Great video. Only problem is that hills never look as steep on videos as they are in real life

In that case I will stick an extra spare on your roof rack. If that’s ok.
I would like to get to Aries Rock as I have a friend that has just moved out there and is the Business annalist of all the resorts out there at Alice Springs (Cheap Room Rates).

But seriously I wont be able to go this year on a big trip it will have to wait till next year. This year I would be happy just to get to LCMP and Coffs Coast.

Would like to be able to go back to Rover Park in June but with the finishing of my mods to the Disco that’s not possible. Its a shame the date is so soon but I want to get these dam accessories finished this year in the next month.

We've gone slightly off topic here but I'll just say this, have to agree with Trav here Loaded, but I'v told you this already. As you are clearly setting your rig up for mainly going off road and do attempt the tricker stuff, I guarentee you will want to change them down the track when you realise that they are a limiting factor as you want to tackle more challenging stuff as experience grows.

Get on the blower to a couple of yards and see if they will change them for a current model set of 16".....you know you will need to do it at some point, best get it over with before you go spending close to $1400 on tyres!!

I could talk at length about the benefits of changing my 18" to 16" but you've heard me rabbit on before.

    Aye, Mick

Love your thinking and i'm in for sure!!

ANd just for the record having 18's or 19's isnt a case of bling but no choice , though if I could get 18's Id use 19's for onroad and 18's for offroad use with the best possible offroad tyre. I cant fit anything else on. Oh and yes offtrack but I didnt start it ,
