Glen, pics never do it justice and even vids don't. You have to be there, only way to get the idea.
August I have an open calender atm. I do plan to go a bit larger
Got the body lift now so I have an excuse to fill the guards up

Mick was like I stated in the report, Like a kid in a lollie shop. No sign of fear at any time in his drive. The disco is well balanced and has good power, must be a pleasure to drive offroad. The pics never do justice to the actual degree of incline or side angles it's always more than it looks.Originally Posted by aquarangie
Trav you are in the next run in august, this one will be a degree harder. Better get some 33s fitted

I'd say your pretty right there Glen.......loved every minute of the weekend as I have been itching to really test the Disco and my driving for ages.......gave all the bar work a good work out too so pleased to see it all performed as designed!!Originally Posted by discoute
Like I say after every trip, it still amazes me how well these cars perform off road and just how capable they are. After a wash on Monday and a bit of touch up spray on the bar work you would never know where she had been or what kind of interesting terrain she had conquered..........and it drives perfectly well to my work each day as if nothing has happened!!
Like I said before though, as I start to push myself and the car a bit further each time, she will morph into more of and off road car and look less like a daily driver.....especially if I G4 orange all the bar workAll in the name of fun though and with everyone in the club, I have a ton of fun

Until the next fun run, aye, Mick
Thanks Glen for a great weekend, glad I made the trip back on Sunday it was worth it, more play time.
Does my stint at the end of day count for the ding tally now as thanks to Zoe and Steinzy we photo evidence of what happens when you forget that there is a rut, down an incline and you drop front left in with plastic front bumpers, even more reason to get Disco to Glens for front bar now OH yes and rear bar which had some unplanned modifications done to it, (race tape works well to hold lights and bumper in place, must put a roll in recovery kit
).
To all everyone at the trip thanks again it was good company and good driving, hope to catch up on Sunday at Golf.
Cheers
Sounds like you all had a great time.....the pics are awesome.
Really sorry I couldn't make the trip, especially as my disco is rated G4 Orange......not sure I'm rated the same though.
I'm looking forward to getting out and doing a bit more serious offroading in the months ahead.
Maybe I'll have to pop down to Glens and see about getting a few things done to my truck too.
These trips are all about mateship and having a good time as group. I like to be involved with helping in the group with drivers and vehicles going for terrian not normally driven, it's all good fun. come along on the next one you will have ball.Originally Posted by Caveman
