Haven't been able to get out and play for a while now so I'm chewing on the bit for a venture off road.

Quick question Camo - will the new engine mounts be sorted by then or should we be carrying some spring wire to tie them down .
Haha yeah that would be great Bolts!

It's all good I stole an extra bit of wire that was in some guys trailer at rover park the other weekend..so if breaks i can fix again

But looking under the car on the weekend I noticed the bottom trans mount is broken..thats prolly why the engine one's break so easy. See how it goes when I change that one

Gees thats not too good with a trans mount broken are you going to get it into ricks to be replaced or do it yourself? Could explain why theres so much tension on engine mount.

Went for a drive at Ormeau and the traction is great. Disco drives a lot smoother over the rough stuff.

    OK we have a trip,

Discoute - Steinzy Lockers Front and rear winch.
    Mick G - Bolts Lockers
Deranged - Loadeddisco Lockers and Winch
Camo - Outlaw Winch and attitude " this pair will be interesting "

This trip will be run in between 8 and 12 weeks time at a new area to be anounced as we get closer to the trip.

There are some areas that can be viewed but most of it will be hard to get to. Lots of rock and gully runs with steep climbs. The gully runs are one way only no turning back. this will need to be a team effort to get all vehicles through.

We will set up camp in the afternoon and start the run at early evening. A good incab hand held spot light will good.

    glen

We may take one more vehicle but this is no walk in the park. Expect a 2.5 hour drive from the gold coast.
