    Fraser Is. September trip details

A 3-4 day trip to Fraser Island will be run from Friday 15th Sept to Sunday 17th or Monday 18th Sept for all members and guests of GCLRO. We will be crossing over at Rainbow Beach (4hr Drive from the Gold Coast)

    DATE: Friday 15th Sept - Mon 18th Sept 2006

BRISBANE MEET: 7.30am departure from BP services Caboolture
    GROUP MEET: Inskip Point 10am

CLASS: GREEN (perfect for those new to 4WDing)
    See track gradings here
    UHF: Channel 33
    TRIP LEADER: Bolts
    TAIL END CHARLIE: Stevo68

ADDITIONAL INFO: Beach camping or cabins (although I beleive all cabins are booked out) will be the go for this trip with the suggested camp site being the last one before the Maheno wreck – this site appears to be the flattest and able to accommodate plenty of cars and trailers.

Below is a suggested itinerary for those wishing to join in, however the weekend is yours to enjoy as you see fit. Times are rough and Bolts will confirm details with you once on Fraser Island as tide times may come into play.

How spooky Tim, I was just about to kick another discussion off and re-post in trips as the main info seems to have dropped out of the trips calander - Josh/Inc any ideas why?
Anyway, suggestions needed for an itinerary so please give your suggestions here so I can formulate a plan before we go and post. One suggestion is we run this trip over to the Monday to give people enough time to enjoy the island and it vastness.

More details to come and please keep checking back before finalising plans as details may change at the last minute.

    Aye, Mick

Hi Mick, x-box couldn’t find it either.

What I have found with this new site, is that after a given period where there are no new posts on a thread, it is automatically moved to the Archives and you then have to go looking for it.

NOTE, to get to the Archives, go to the very bottom right hand side of any page and there you will find the Archives button.

    Cheers.
