    MickG a tight Scot NEVER!!

The rumour that copper wire was invented by two Scots fighting over a penny may be true.

The story that a Scot once dropped a penny and it hit him in the back of the head when he bent down to pick it up may also be true.

But it is not true that MickG is a tightas*.

He not only invited us, but he paid for my friend and I to play golf at St. Lucia on Saturday. What a champ!

(He was under the illusion that he would get paid back - ha ha sucker)
No chance - I'm leaving the club and the country now!!

Just kidding - fix you up at the meeting on Thursday champ! Thanks again.

    Matt

I'd also like to thank Mr B. Connolly for the above jokes

I did mention that any outstanding monies would incur a daily interest rate didn't I...............that is an interest rate of 1 Guinness per day, so I make it by Thursday you will owe me 5 pints of the back nectar!!!

Only kidding of course, enjoyed the golf with you and Mike and for those who are feeling left out, I had 2 friends cancel on me last minute and Matt graciously agreed to step in as he lived in Brisbane - thanks again Matt for filling in.

Still, the next GCLRO golf day will be along soon, so be ready!!

    Aye, Mick

I think if you search your memory banks you will find that a last minute invitation to fill in was indeed extended to you, and promtly declined

And in light of this open abuse, any and all future invitations have been revoked until sufficient steps have been taken to placate one extremely kind Scotsman

Mate, you obviously don't live in Queensland when you spout such dangerous language????
Believe what Bolts said about stripping a car, but with me helping him it will be a lot quicker and messier
Only joking - we're not touchy about the rugby or dangerous at all?
