Briefly, excellent overnighter with some cracking tracks in the park and a whole lot more to explore another time. Very sensibly and well lead by Glen during the night with some very interesting terrain being covered. Mainly gully runs with lots of off camber and cross axle stuff.......a few trees to catch your roof lines on too. No damage other than some small roof scratches from the trees and 4 staked tyres on 4 separate cars.
Will get back with more soon, plus we should have some pics in the post soon from the park owner, but it is a great place with a cracking camping spot and well kept facilties. Awsome food there also cooked by the host.

    We'll be back

    Night run

Ok trip report as per what mick said, but we did have a lot of fun during the night and the day.
The first track of the night run was a nice little rock climb with varying steps and holes you couldn't see. Aquarangie put on a wheel stand show for the locals on this track, and he also lifted his l/h front wheel about 3ft, in front of us on another track whilst on a 25deg right hand side slope, very interesting Trav.
Had great fun watching the headlights of cars in front point skyward whilst you're waiting in line. Cut sidewalls were a problem due to very sharp unseen rocks.
Paul and I spent the night with the Mogrover behind us, and with its rock lights on it looked like something out of Close Encounters.
Having a softly sprung vehicle, and not having a roof rack, led us to hug a couple of trees. Hence I could win the ding tally. Both rear quarters, various hits on the roof gutter, all 4 rims have pieces missing but no damaged tyres, and somewhere I bent a trailing arm. ( I think it was the boulders that Mickg and Travis spat down at us on that first run.) Last but not least a tree tore my drivers side mirror off, just as I folded it in. But man we had fun
I think the highlight of the night was watching one of the Brissy guys in his Disco negotiating a steep down hill track, when a 1mt round rock found its way under his right rear tyre, which he kept going and drove over it. The only thing that stopped him rolling was the tree he lent on with his roof rack on his l/h side. Very impressive as we were not in that car!!!!!
The rest of the tracks consisted of great articulation, good wheelstands and some steep loose hill climbs. All in all a great place and good company. Thanks to Glenn and the boys from Brissy. Its always a pleasure to drive with experienced and sensible people.

To top it all off not one recovery was needed other than Ross from Brissy pushing Travs car back from a very high wheelstand.

Just have to find 14k to get those portal kits from maxidrive hmmmmmm...

    Regards justin
