MINIMUM VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum AT / MT Tyres
- Rated front & rear recovery points
- Recovery gear (Snatch, shackles, gloves)
- Centre Diff Lock or factory Traction Control
- Rear Locker (Minimum)
- Fire Extinguisher
- First Aid kit
- Sturdy foot wear (including all passengers)
- UHF radio
I have plans for more exploration of the local areas in the next few weeks with maps covering all the hinterland behind the coast.![]()

Good one mate, pick the day that I will be driving all over the place like a blueazz fly trying to get work stuff sorted before FraserI will be going for an exploratory drive tomorrow (Thursday) of some of the local tracks. It will be a 2 - 3 hour drive (Look Around) close to the Coast just behind Nerang and South.
Departure: Hinze Dam Kiosk at 11:00Am.
Track Grading: Easy - Medium.
UHF: CH33., bugger next time

PS, rain IS forecast for tomorrow.
I will be going on Saturday Morning for a drive through some tracks found South of Hinze Dam. If anyone is interested please post or PM and let me know. This is an exploration drive to check where these tracks go to.
Meet at Hinze Dam kiosk at 10:00am Saturday.

Well no one available so went solo and checked it all out would be ok for a small group night run but all fairly easy as no one knows where it is and the tracks are not rutted out just getting a bit over grown with lantarna.
A few tracks link up and there is two good hill climbes but most run to over grown tracks and you have to turn around.
The area needs Rangers to do a controlled burn through there and it would be great.
All in all a good day out fun driving no hassels and plenty of wildlife around.
