    Justin,

definatley interested and will get one, by the sounds of it a good bit of gear. Let me know when you are making them in multiple sets.

The Graeme Cooper one I bought 6 years ago will now br retired, actually I might see if I can mount it rearwards.

I'll keep this thread running for now as we only have a few multiples of the same items and therefore probably can't get a great discount. Having said that, for all custom bar, slider, protection kit etc, see Dranged on this thread as i'm sure he can sort out a deal for members etc.
Also I would suggest Drivesafe for all electrical/battery realted items and again, I'm sure he will look after you all.

As for non vehicle specific items, i.e. lights, Stauns, winches etc keep them coming and I'll make some enquiries once I have a few more added to the list.

Okay, after some investigation I have managed to agree on a club discount for us at ARB Gold Coast - avge 6% on ARB items. The discount will apply immediately to ARB items only and not on labour. Non ARB items such as IPF, Kaymar, Engel etc may be discounted after seaking to ARB first.

ARB will only apply the discount if an official club card is produced or I ring ahead first or go in with the person, so if anyone is looking to buy any gear from ARB, perhaps they can get you the best price. Until we have our club cards, call me if you are looking to buy from ARB.

Small saving for us all to begin with

As for larger or more specialised items go, we will have to play sensible and try to source the best prices possible from a variety of suppliers. Keep the list going and if anyone is about to buy anything, let this thread know and it may prompt someone else in the club to open their wallet at the same time in order to secure a better price.

I'm looking for an ultra low slim line roof rack as well. All the models out there seem to be big wind breaks with or without gerar. If you find one which is actually stream-lined please let me know. I've seen some old County's with just a mesh-like rack which looks perfect.

    cheers

Hi jimmy...me again. There is a guy in our club who's company makes caravans. He has an extremely slim line roof rack for his 110 defender and it looks the business and works really well by all accounts. Another in our club is looking for the same sort of thing so I will make a few enquiries and see what he can do.

Watch this thread for more info.

As Mick said, one of our members is about to make a couple Slimline roofracks for X-box and Outlaws Fenders and maybe one for Camo's classic rangy... should have prices in a couple weeks.

It is basically only around 40mm off the roofline and follows the shape of the roof although he is doing a slightly different design for mine which will incorporate a slight basket at the front to protect the spotties and will give a flat roofline.

    What model have you got?

    FOX 2008 RRS - Artemis 1989 Perentie FFR - Phoenix S2a 88" with more - Beetlejuice 1956 S1 86" - GCLRO #001 - REMLR #176
    EVL '96 Defender 110 - Emerald '63 2a Ambulance 112-221 - Christine '93 Rangy - Van '98 Rangy - Rachael '76 S3 GS - Special '70 S2a GS - Miss B '86 Rangy -
    RAAF Tactical 200184 & 200168
