That's no good Steve, Hope little Connor is OK. Just let him know that chicks dig scars
G'day All,
Well yesterday was the youngest- Connor's 4th Birthday. There he was all dressed up as a Power Ranger, then kaboom. Falls back and hits his head on the corner of the coffee table. Meanwhile Daddy aka Stevo is out knocking back a few cold ones, cooking a BBQ, so best I come in and check. Fair bit of blood and a nasty gash in the back of his head. Well that was enough for me ( read a woos when it comes to that kinda stuff) so myself, my brother and my mum ( read again: all wooses), hung back trying to regain composure.
My solution, some dettol and and a band aid, the outcome......down the the medical centre and 3 stitches. Now THATS a Birthday to remember
, as they say, didnt happen without pics, so will post some later,
Regards
Stevo

Hey matey hope he's okay - bit of sore head and a story to tell how strong he was as a power rangerand a wimp he old man was at the sight of blood
.
And there was me thinking this was compulsory for all 4 year olds, both my boys did various 'nasties' to themselves around that time, and like you I am a total woos.
I am sure he will heal - and in a few weeks it will be all forgotten, - mind you he'll have something to 'brag about' when he does 'show and tell' when he gets back to kinder
Don't you just love 'em
PS......how is the coffee table

Ah the joys of having small children. Andrew and Charlie both have and continue to add to various scars and bumps all over theor bodies from various accidents.....hope the wee man is okay after the little incident and hope Conner is okay too

Aye, Mick
Thanks for the comments, yeah he seems fine, came back running around as usual and off to see the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Apparently the hard part was pinning the blighter down to put the stitches in..........definately a mummy job as daddy would have hit the floor passed out
.
, yep showed Justin this arvo, table is still in good nick, mind you it is one of those big wooden ones that weighs half a tonne, so would expect the bratsky to come off second best. Hopefully he has now learnt his lesson that you dont do back flips off the lounge and that he really doesnt have Power Ranger powersPS......how is the coffee table
Regards
