No ground clearance **** poor departure angles (rear).
I drove a new Pajero for work last month. As you say they are great road cars but looking RAV4 drivers in the eye at the lights took some getting used to

Now on any other day NOz, I would disagree with you here, but given the fact that this potential sale may facilitate another LR in your collection, I can see the logic

Would be great to see you back out with us on some trips soon....we have a few god ones booked in for this year.

Take it easy and hope to see you soon, Mick

I agree, that's where those soft cock 4WD belong, on beaches and on the road . If you want to do proper 4WDing, but a Land Rover

Plenty of cheap D1's about, especially the V8 models.

****ing oath that was (and I know that it was NOZ' old beast). I'm not into diesels, I would have looked at that for that sort of money if I was in the market.

Yeah thanks Justin, I should have kept the old bugger.

I might look for a D2 V8 this time, have to wait and see if I can come to part with my HK Premier.

That's what ****s you about trade-ins, you get **** all for it and you know it's worth a hell of a lot more not just in dollars but in the time and effort in setting up the vehicle. In hindsight (although not always practical) is to keep the vehicle and just pay a few extra bucks on the lease/loan on the new vehicle.

D2 V8 is a great option, but for an off-roader and weekend play vehicle, I would look at something a bit cheaper. That way if you break/scratch/dent it, the agony of it isn't really going to matter.
