So you sold thew D3, what's the next project vehicle of sorts. Should be good whatever you choice of LR

Re- Sook trip. I just like to clarify things before I waste my time and not meant to be an offense. Everyone around here knows I like to play hard, even the next Rangie I buy I won't pike just be a bit more careful (if possible )

    Have a good one.

Yeah the D3 should go on Tuesday, was meant to go yesterday but a hiccup with the settlement...all sorted now. Have put a deposit on a stock 03 D2 TD5 with 7 seats, should have it by next Thursday and then the fun begins ,

Always a sad moment to sell off your pride and joy.

When the buyer for my 76 Rangie picked it up last night it was a mixed feeling, but I am going onto another Rangie project now so looking to the future

well another day where i didn't enjoy myself, crystal creek in the wet is treacherous.
and the greedy buggers still take your money.
only managed to get down into the first track and needed assistance to winch out, slipperier than an eel.
no damage as such, just broke the winch somehow and wasted 20 bucks.

Best to avoid after rain that place, it's shocking during ans after rain

I have been there when it was sunny then a change and the rain poured on for about an hour, but still drizzled til we left. It took about 3 hours to get out of there with no winch, AT tyres and unlocked too (long time ago this happened when I was young and stupid, learnt a lot of off-road lessons that day ).

Still. I agree, I think they should have at least some sort of money refund. They usually shut that place when rain has or is going to settle in.

You could have come to my place and helped me build a rock wall with our tractor on a steep side slope. Nothing like getting cross axled with a couple of hundred kilos in the bucket going down hillthank christ for the rear locker and ultra ultra low gearing

Least you would have saved $20
