    series 3

now that i have your attention,
i am after the seals which fit between the window sides and the tub on a long series tub,
condition doesn't matter too much, i will take anything.
i need this to sort the window sides height so as to align the roof and w'screen.
i would appreciate any help, if someone knows where i might find these.
i havn't tried the wreckers, as they are a bit far from here, - seems the gold coast isn't a good place for wrecked landies.

    Hi mate,

Do you mean the long seal between the tub and the side holding the windows if so Four Wheel Drives - Land Rovers New and Used Spare Parts - Home series 3 parts manual lists these parts at $16.50 Each side.

Go and check out the nearest Clark Rubber store Harry. You never know as they have a great range of automotive seal profiles.

Its a while since I have taken apart a S3 body but I am pretty sure you could just use some flat 1-2 mm thick rubber that you can get from clark rubber or a hardware store. A lot of blokes would just use silicone but that has problems after a while.

Why do you need it just for aligning roof and windscreen ?

    thanks for the replies,
the seals are about 1/2 inch thick and live between the window side and the ute body, not the roof. the roof to sides is the next question, but i think i might have that sorted.
sorta thought someone might have something they don't need, however i will check out the leads you have sent me,
    thanks.
