Thanks to Harry and garry for jumping in at last minute - enjoyed every minute of it, was an interesting place to do recovery from - but as harry said if we had not gone back for them they would still be there. Great team work in the recovery and got them out. Both vehicles were only 18 yrs old and out playing was funny to see all the teenagers trying to push the vehicles out of the mud while tyres where fling mud everywhere.

    Recovery

with hindsight, maybe a winch recovery would have been better.

Mate in hindsight I would have left it there if it had no recovery points. By the sound of it you were lucky. A 60 series rear bar in full flight on a snatch strap no way Jose. Worst case senario I would chain up around the chassis, but only on a car I knew.

I too was a bit put off by the bumper pull. I also would never use chain around a chassis in a snatch recovery. Should have left em there.
