i do the same myself mate........the only way to buy
we now get two moo cows done with each of us getting a half a moo cow each
G'day All,
Been a while since I did the last one, but am having another one done today. I have given first dibs to those that bought last time...but in case there is an opening am asking for expressions of interest. Am yet to confirm exact price but should be around 50-60 kilos of meat at a rough cost of $325.00. This includes the following cuts....all packaged...
Meat Packet
Last time it was around $6-7 a kilo for all sorts of cuts...considering that sausages are generally around $7 a kilo it is a great buy and the meat is excellent. I am taking one quarter, so for sale are 3 other quarters. Other club members can testify to the quality as well. So put up your interest...will take it on a first in first serve of expression of interest. Meat will be delivered to your door step as well

Ok.....another quarter has been confirmed....just waiting on another quarter...which at this stage leaves a quarter of a cow up for possible grabs. You can go halvers in a quarter if you wish...but splitting is then up to the 2 buyers. Also $$$ are paid upfront once all details are confirmed. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. As Weeds says, this is a great way to go. Next year will be looking to do more in way of cows, pigs and hopefully some goat as well. So register your interest for that as well, then I will keep a list and offer to the people on the list first as it is good quality locally grown animals plus saving a bonza over supermarket meat,

Well looks like a case of you snooze you lose. Just waiting on one more confirmation but looks like the moo cow is gone. If anyone else is interested, list your interest or send me a pm so I can contact you if I am having another cow/pig/lamb or goat being done. It saves a fortune compared to buying from the shops,

It looks like I am heading to Qld for a holiday in January. I can help eat moo cow.
We have moo cows - have a whole steer in our freezer.
Can't say the meat is as good as it should be though. It was allowed to run before it was shot. Once the lactic acid gets pumping it stays there when they go down and makes the meat tough as.
PS - I am also QLD bound in Jan. Can also assist with devouring the moo moo.
