    Ormeau to Brisbane/Ipswich this week

    Hi All,

If anyone is heading from the Gold Coast to Brisbane (Milton/City) or Ipswich (Redbank Plains) early this week i would appreciate some assistance getting a set of Radius arms from Pete's place at Ormeau.

We were involed in a nose to tail on Saturday in the Ford, very scary with 3 kids under 4 in the back seat and cars spinning out of control and bouncing off the side of the car It looks like the ford will be a write off so the Disco will have to do a stint as a daily driver. The good news is everyone is safe and there was no injuries

Pete has a set of arms that he pressed new bushes into for me and the disco is a little shacky to give to Eve to drive or for me to drive in peak traffic to work the way it is. If all else fails i will grab them on Thursday at the meeting but i dont like leaving Eve at home with the kids with effectively no car.

If no one is heading up in the next two days i may head down tomorrow night but thought i would try this way first.

You can get me on 0414744744 if you can assist

Thanks All, just glad it was not worse (for all involved). Got to say those old Mazda 929 wagons are tough Ford - Bumper, Bonnet, passenger guard pushed back all the way to passender door (door does not open), creased driver guard, lights, grill, etc etc, Mazda - one rear bumper But i think it was a combination of the crumple zones working and the fact that i managed to steer it onto the corner rather then a t-bone into the side of her (she was side ways infront off me) that resulted in a lower impact for all passengers in both cars, and because we got pushed sideways and the car next to use just glanced off the side we did not have someone hit us from behind. Could have been a hell of a lot worse
