I'm sure the rain will affect the crossings. No idea how much though. It makes it more fun when they are high and they all have river rock bottoms so traction is good unless you drop into a hole.

We are heading up Saturday morning at this stage so let me know what UHF channel you will be using and I'll meet you at your bbq point. Hopefully it will be dry by then

Since there aren't many people on the trip you might be able to come back to our camper and use our cooker. Not sure what the setup etc at the place we are going to be will be like yet.

Just for everyone's info - Kat and I drove up the CG track last Sunday - it was a total bog - lots of mud. We had the Mickey T's on so we had no dramas, but with all the rain of late it can only be worse this weekend.

There is also a sign which says "dry weather road only - closed in wet" or similar. Might pay to check if it's even open.

But have fun - sorry I can't make it.

We were going to make it but things are a bit too wet for us at the moment. Have a great time if you get out there and hopefully we will see everyone out there again soon.
