    Question Help with Maxi Drive

My old Maxi Drive, one of the 28 spine type, has a T-Piece which I believe T's off the Break booster Line to provide the Vacuum
    Is this correct?
Is this the way they all were or did latter models have a better system?
Has anybody had problems with hard break pedal when engaging the Maxi Drive ??

    Thanks for the Help

Leave the brake booster line alone. See if you can find another vac point on the manifold somewhere and hook the Maxi into that. It just reduces strange brake problems. Did the maxi come with a resevoir?????

Yes Justin that was my thoughts. Thanks for confirming.
I was originally going to tap into the line which goes to the charcoal canister, but I noticed that that has some sort of electronic sensor in the line (which I don’t want to upset when the Maxi engages) and I also have convinced myself that this line might be open through the canister, so not get a full vacuum

Do you have any suggestions, should I just drill and tap a new hole into the plenum?

Yes I do have the resovoir and one way valve

I tapped into my vaccume line through the distributor pipe, worked every time for 10 years I had my maxi-drive.

Rick fitted my front maxi and rigged it through the brake line, as Justin said gives you some pucker moments on the road I changed it back to the system I had before with the rear only, problem solved.

Make sure you have a vacuum cleaner sucking next to the drill bit to take away the swarf. may stop some entering the chamber.
