Don't know if this comment is really applicable in this case, but when I bought new rubber for my Series 1, (and bear in mind I intend to bring her back to the original glory) I bought genuine Land Rover Rubbers that are actually still available (in amazing old fashioned Land Rover paper). Clark rubber, especially on more major pieces such as bulkhead to windscreen, just look cheap compared to the original stuff.

Depends how fussy and rich you are - not that the original rubber is actually particularly expensive.

    Door rubbers

Last time I got door rubbers they were around the $80 per door for genuine items and they only come in all black now.

A bit out of your area but Grippy Rubber Products of Unit 5, 28 Vore St SILVERWATER NSW 2128 Ph: 02 98989688 have a very wide range of automotive door rubbers.
Maybe if you could post a small section of the original rubber down, they may be able to help you.

I have no pecuniary interest in this recommended firm.

I got some clark rubber door sealing extrusion stuff and did the same as what you are planning In hindsight, I should have just got the LR original stuff for about $80. I think from memory the clark rubber stuff was about $13 a metre, so its not really any cheaper, and the LR stuff I would assume has the curves moulded into it so will seal and look better anyway.
