    Video

Sorry for the delay in posting some video
I had to clean up my computer, it was full you see full of pictures of Land Rovers it turns out.
So having made space for some more Land Rover video, things worked better.

The video was longer but WhiteD3 had a lot of the same footage, so not to boor I cut it down, see WhiteD3 above.

Check out Eric and Darth (Justin)

The first 2 louts and Skiboy did far less damage to the track by only having one attempt

Eric - we also keep to the track (through good fortune I suspect in my case) - I did do a jump to the right then a jump to the left you will note in the video!

Rachael actually wanted to have a second go - and I had almost convinced her to drive it - but when we got back down everyone seemed keen to pack it in so we left it. Anyway this is part of the reason for building another car so more of our family group can get out and drive.

For us the mud hill was the highlight of the trip - to do something a little more difficult. Having spent a fair bit of time preparing and sorting the car last year (and some repairs last/this year) we need more fun stuff.

Mind you we only just made it up with a lot of side to side on the steering wheel when we started to slow down!

We ran second gear in the auto - almost tempted at third with the reduction transfer gears - so that keep more traction.

Looking forward to doing more driving and less grinding and welding this year! Black dust on the driveway makes a mess.

The sound of that engine is entertainment enough for any V8 lover!

But as I saw it you got as far as where we slowed down and almost stopped - only difference is we are on mud tyres!

following eric and justin, there were two other cars that tried this track, one failed, and the second got it, then noz and the others were to follow,
we missed those events as we were still returning from the successful first conquering of this track.

    yeehar,
and i didn't have to hang on,
    eric drove it well,
and the four wheel drifts between trees going uphill at 75 k's were excellent, i even got some of that rally driver/navigator hand signal stuff going, so he didn't have to slow down.

    thanks eric, that was fun.

toddles off to garage to work out something with disco wheel arches, where does the supercharger fit, how much of the front do i cut off, where;s the angle grinder.
    Safe Travels

Gotta love the sound of those V8's althpough Justin made it look simple.

Gaz at least the Disco sounds like a real V8 now The bullet sounds good with it's 2 1/2 inch straight through muffler and new extractors too when it's running properly
