Looks like everyone had a great trip out, I was stuck in the shed all weekend fixing my oil cooler...would love to come on a trip for once with a functioning car.
Nice wheelstand Stevo, that tops the one at the LCMP in March last year.

Glad to see you managed a photo of Leons front as well as his arse Dan. Thoroughly enjoyed the drive and the day, as Leon added another 350k's to his odometer. Was quite an eventful week all told.

Patsy and I only partook of the day trip down and back on Sunday, but thoroughly enjoyed the little of the Easter camaraderie that we did sample.
First impressions as we drove in was, "How can they fit so many people into the one small area" but we were pleased to see the separate area for the GCLRO group. That was great.
All the Series vehicles performed remarkably well on the day, only being passed by approximately 3,284 vehicles on the way down and slightly less on the way back! Not really, we sat around the 80kph mark all the way.
The striking feature that stands out in the GCLRO to me, is the great social attitude within the club as well as the diversity of people and machines, and that was evident over the small sector of the weekend that we sampled.
Didn't take too many photos, just this first one caught my eye, the similarity in the camouflage patterns of the shorts worn by one member and the olive drab used by the military!

And of course there has to be the mandatory shot of real Land Rovers somewhere, from Left to Right; 1970s, 1960s and 1950s.
These were the vehicles that opened up the country before the young ones started putting on all that weight!!!

Once again, thanks to all responsible for the organisation, well done, another great weekend!
    Regards
    Glen

We had a great weekend. Last minute decision to go when our usual camp got cancelled on us bit it was a pretty good option B . Thanks Dave for organising it and thanks Weeds and the property owners for letting us have some fun on Saturday. Most of the photos I have were from Phil in the mini Pajero and here is one to prove that Scallops is right about this one being a future Landrover driver.

Then one to maybe show how steep that hill is.

Then a wheel stand to rival Stevo's

The other photos seem to be mostly the same as those already posted. I haven't downloaded my camera yet so I will see later if there are any more worth showing.
