it has been great to read your report guy, well done.
a great bunch of pics,
thanks all for putting them up.
not sure if the pinz is club legal with 150 drunks and children on board, grimace didn't really drive fluffy anywhere at all, so he can give it back without any sand or anything in it,
how cool is that, sell the car and borrow it back, we do have an amazing bunch of members.
luckily he didn't ask me for a car, as i would have had to give in,
and pete, kangaroo edward clutch, trucks it home and returns, to be with sam,
when's the wedding? oh, not supposed to mention that.
great to see the little kids are not into worrying about the temperature, some great pics john,
even though there was some talk of cold, you look as if you managed ok, everyone pictured wearing shorts and t shirts [nice, marketing man]
Just for an update to the beach front at Waddy, the lagoon is now tidal - I received the following in the last couple of days, and will have more photos when the group returns at the weekend.
Yesterday we had a major change occur during the high tide. The banks of the sedge broke through and on low tide all the water in the sedge drained out. People were netting prawns and mullets and the huge eels were caught in their nets. The tenants (as well as the dingo) had so much pleasure in catching live mullet. It was a real comedy.
This morning we captured the incoming high tide refilling the sedge (photo attached – see the break through). We now have tidal waters closer to waddy than ever before.
And a few shots of the same section of beach to give some reference for those who were unable to make it or haven't been to Waddy Point on Fraser Island
