Another relaxing weekend at Gordons... Although I spent most of the driving going sideways or getting stuck (sort of - I got out each time).
And they must have the world's most stickiest mud because I spent a good 3 hours hosing the car down.
Just a quick report and a few pictures from the weekend at Gordons Country.
We had 4 cars there, Dave (DJHampson) in his D3, John and Denyse Hampson in their RR Sport, Roland (Rovering) in his LSE Classic, and myself in the 90.
Roland I got there around 830am on Saturday morning, and were offered tea by Denyse which was nice
Dave arrived around 10am.
We set up and headed out for a drive. the tracks were a bit wet, but not too bad. We stayed on the main campsite side of the entrance track, and covered quite a lot of tracks, some of which we hadn't done before which was good.
On the way back down we headed through the little play area but it started to rain so I dont have any pics from there.
Heading down from the play area if a reasonbly large mudhole.
We got abck to camp and the rain set it a bit. We did get a fire going but it wasn't really enough to cook on, so we sat under the awning of the caravan for the evening! Thanks again John/Denyse! Also thanks for DinnerIt was really nice!
We headed out the other side this morning for another drive.
Few pics below:
After getting back to camp we packed up and Roland and I headed back in a little convoy until Beaudesert. About 20ks after leaving my damaged screen crakced the entire width in one go which was nice! It got home ok, so I will order a new one to fix that.
Other than that I think it was a trouble free weekend. Hopefully everyone ejoyed it. No one needed recovering either!
Thanks
Pete
ps, I have downloaded a trial of photoshop so thats why some of the pictures may look odd... it has heaps of buttons and sliders and stuff....
