Harry, just get some pointers from Bullets on driving a shorty up steep hills

I certainly like the longer wheelbase for steep climbs, sort of like the following for going downhill:
    130" "what hill?"
    110" "That was pretty easy"
100" "The rear end tried to overtake us again"
88" "Oh crap, here we go!!!"

It was great to catch up with the club again its been to long! and yes Saturday wasn't my day, breaking an axle first hill certainly wasn't planned but we made it home without any problems (thank god for my mate with a tow truck) I've got new axles ordered so the fender will be back on the tracks in no time!
Dad decided to bring the county out for a run on the sunday which worked out fine, the standard front axles were up to the task
Thanks all for a great drive bring on 2014, hopefully I'll have a winch fitted by then

FYI - this piece I'm holding here is part of the bearing lock nut! Unbelievable the damage the axle did to be honest! :O

If you can't fix it with a hammer , you got an electrical problem .......
