Thanks Pete,
Some great photos there.
The Pinz tends to be a little tippy at the best of times but this is the first time I have ever put a car on it's side. Not really something I want to do again either.
It was just something that happened so fast, down a steep hill where two tracks joined together and as we were coming onto the other track a rut or something caught the wheel and pulled the steering wheel out of my hands and we were heading off to the right and up onto the bank before I could do anything about it. Then Dave said "We're going over" and we did. That bit seemed to happen in slow motion at least . Thinking about it I wonder if I had put my foot down it might have driven out but then it might just have made it fall harder.

It's a new experience trying to get your legs out from under the steering wheel when you are on the side and can't open the door and then having to climb out the passenger door and jump off. And a new experience looking straight up at the passenger. Of course I didn't think to turn the ignition off, cut the power, put the handbrake on or any of that so had to climb back in through the back and do it.
Many thanks to Grimace, Pete, Grant and Dave, everything got back on track calmly and quickly, no panic, just working out the best way to do things and getting them done.
Some damage to the bodywork but it drove home without any issues at all.
Cheers,
Tim.
