Ballina beach camping over new year

I want to thank all our members and their guests for coming down to Ballina and especially Dave/ busman for organising this trip.
One of the most enjoyable things happening was the special events for the children on this camping trip, that was fantastic to see all the kids being active and happy.
The cook up was great and I thank you all for your efforts, desert dumplings were fantastic and I think I have a new mum, even if she is younger than me.
Beach driving was great for most, but those that own lowered d3's didn't fare so well, so I am thankful for a tug out.
I also advise that we all should enter the beach in the correct gear and with 4wd engaged.
I now know that a d3 has more sand traps than a 36 hole golf course and perhaps the ferry man should have charged me ten ton truck rates!
Now all this report needs is pictures, some of our people took heaps, sadly, I took none,
    Thanks for an enjoyable trip.
    Safe Travels

Keep ya shirt on Phil . Tonic caught a huge under sized flat head but as there was so much fresh/dirty water from the rain the fishing was a bit ordinary. Lots of fun on the beach though. Cant seen to upload photo's for some reason, keeps coming up invalid file. Any idea's you tech heads?. I will try again later.

Actually I have been pretty slack with photos recently, I didn't take a single one at Ballina. I did get a couple of short videos on the phone but I am having trouble getting them up on the computer at the moment.
