Big thanks to Justin and Katherine for their trip leading and navigation around coffs, great job once again, with the whole trip in recoveries and pick of tracks.

Also a thanks to Eric and Greg in the 109, hand built by them and what an awsome job they have done, but also top people to have on a trip.

Stevo and family thanks for the entertainment onve again - never a dull moment with you guys along, was awsome and no problems getting you guys home on Sunday that is what the club and mates are all about, you would do the same for me if the tables were reversed. Also big raps on your driving you did a great job and although you had some changing of underwear you got the family and D3 home safe and sound.

Mickg always a good trip - but yes will be pulling the sticker off after this weekend and having a new one made - Micky dont follow me - you WILL break something!.

Had a look at footage Sharlea took of some of the trails and the D3 taking on Commando, despite being a bit wobbly in places, would be good footage for new people to see the team work involved, in this case getting me back down onto flatter ground. The reason I have become a better driver and more aware of the capabilities of my vehicle and driving is simply due to the people around me.....plus I guess being a willing participant .

Cant wait to see footage that Greg took, will be waiting with baited breath as he took great footage of all of us. Also Justin you were right about BFG muddies in an 18, link here : http://www.aulro.com/afvb/showthread.php't=42637

Could very well be on the next agenda for tyres, must get rid of tyre hoodoo

    Regards

    Stevo

Dont worry about the calls Phillipe anytime. yes there will be another trip soonish as I am planning a Camel Trophy type trip from Coffs heading west. locked vehicles only a navi and a tent and plenty off spares.

    Will keep everyone posted.

well, im impressed, finally i got time to watch the vid stevo copied for us.
what a trip, stevo, unbelievable what a stock d3 can do in territory that highly modified cars only call home.
eric and the109 has a capable beasty with a good winch seeing it got a lot of work and some good training material also for the novices.
justin has a capable car and the vid also shows some interesting tracks and obstacles..
methinks it would be a treacherous place in the wet.
nice to hear the v8 roar of bolts truck, mick the diesel will need a better exhaust to sound that good.
and should i mention the tojo axle shooting out of the rear housing?
