    Finally somebody got a pic of stevo nodding off. I tried at the springs but to no avail

    Would have liked to attend and added to the Rangie count but I had to remove an engine from the Disco wreck (sold on e-bay) plus a few other bits.

    By the way Camo those flares look 10 times better than those wankey D3 ones you had (plus more durable)

    Well here are my happy-snaps of the day since I'm procrastinating this afternoon...

    Morning assembly and briefing


    Snatch recovery exercise. I wanted to get a shot of the FL2 snatching a Defender


    Bobbing through the elephant's footprints.


    And emerging at the other end...


    There were a few boggy bits around the place...


    And my personal favourite, coming down Hilux hill...


    Andrew's FL2 sliding down the hill. Only a bit of minor panel damage but I was well impressed with where the FL was able to go...

    And finally a nature shot to prove that we didn't just drive indiscriminately over everything we saw...


    Thanks guys for organising a terrific day out and I'm looking forward to more in the future. Also I will finally try to get my act together and make it to the meeting on Thursday night.
