Thread: NSW Closed Tracks/Trails

Does anyone know if the NPWS or DPI keep a good list of which tracks and trails on their lands are closed?

After a long time waiting I finally managed make up an excuse to go home via the Mountain Lagoon Fire Trail only to find it closed once I'd driven all the way up from Bilpin.

To avoid future diasppointment it would be good to be able to quickly check if a track is closed before going to it. Is there a central database or is it all down to individual parks or forests and their management to notifiy the public on a park by park / forest by forest basis?

Is that the trail that goes to Mt Wilson, if it is, the locals have closed it not NPWS.

As for a central data base for closed tracks aaahhhh NO according to a reliable source I know
