    April ed of 4WD action.

April edition of 4WD action has a DVD with Vic high country, Billy Goat bluff, And the poor defender driver had Rothy giving him a dig, but it was good to see the fender winch Rothy's Milo.

Just watching it now. It's the first 4wd Action I've bought in over a year. Only reason I bought it was it had Vic High Country and a Defender

If you look at the pics after that recovery it looks like they have turned around and gone back over the water crossing and driven back the other way

What poor defender driver...it was digs all round ....topped off by the recovery. Was a great dvd and good to see a Fender in there. Anyone ( like myself) who subscribes to 4WD Action and Custom......LR's get a pretty decent coverage.

I know some of my brotherhood can get a little sensitive when it comes to Roothy and some of his landy digs.....but he also gives it to pootrols as well....funnily enough just as we give it to other brands here . Also a nice fender in recent Custom mag,

    Regards

My Jaw dropped when I saw Roothy make a new exit point 25 meters upstream of the current, perfectly good one!
Way to **** DSE off Roothy!

I had to have a giggle at his comment about Moroka Hut being ideal for honymooners !!
Thats exactly where I stayed in 1981 for mine Well a few nights anyway. Shame how the lovely wooden bed has long gone. A lot of huts have been stripped out though.
Typical Queenslander comment about mosquito's though. Maybe he is too ****ed to notice they aren't in the high country ??

Next edition has a Buying a Deefer tutorial.
Yes I subscribed, only because they were throwing in a set of Staun tyre deflaters and pouch , plus a free stubbie holder for the over all cost of the subscription, so I thought what the heck
One thing about Roothy, you wouldn't want to share a tent with him after eating the crap he cooks up. I reckon a lot of methane passes during the night.

Out of the three vehicle in use, only the Defender remained incident free.

I enjoyed that edition a lot. I thought it was the general 'crap' stirring that always occurs when you go out on a trip - there's nothing serious about it. Hell you should have seen the crap I got travelling with 7 Cruisers on the VIC High Country trip a couple of years ago

But it's all good natured and it'd be boring without it sometimes.

And just quietly I was a little jealous watching that DVD.....

Obviously like many others here I USED to subscribe when it was 4wd monthly. Got sick of the constant ads for ARB and Pirhanna. Not thet there is anything wrong with the products, just every second or third word seemed to be about these companies...as if there were no others.
I bought this edition to have a look at the DVD and reckon its a beauty as well. I think they've also improved the content of the mag somewhat....not so much focus on the 'custom' stuff now that they have a separate mag for it. Who knows, might buy a couple more then subscribe again if the quality stays up there.
