Fair enough, but that came from the operators themselves. They're hardly going to tell the reporter if they had previous issues. I don't think that any conclusions I may have drawn are any different to the conclusion you drew that male members of the family pressured the operators into unsafe practices.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I suspect that P38 may be unfortunately on the correct track.

Now that her name, place of residence ( Sydney) as well as her origin have been published.

There is also a couple of comments that the track was unlicensed.

Religion seems to have nothing to do with it

Workcover only issued a notice for one of their gokarts the others it appears were registered, amusment devices also cover pinball machines etc so still a lot of leeway on what they were unlicenced for having been throught D.A,s with our local council it would be hard to operate without them having copies of workcover certificates will have to wait and see

Dude that was in England. I see loose clothing items being part of the blame for that one as well.

a quick Google seems to show up a few similar type of accidents on pommyland. It would seem that it may be safer to be a Muslim chick than a pommy chick? Or that maybe Muslim chicks are smarter than pommy chicks? Who knows.

There was 2% unemployment in the 50's. Anyone who went to the CES with the idea of receiving unemployment payments was pretty smartly found a job. Long term unemployment was then defined as six weeks. There were plenty of unskilled and semi-skilled jobs available and the CES then had no compunction about sending job snobs out for a spell of labouring or process or harvest work. The Qld. sugar industry had such a problem in getting sufficient harvest labour in the face of great industry expansion that the government was considering civil conscription until they found this was unconstitutional. Most postwar immigrants were under an obligation to work where they were sent for two years. Of course, many ignored this and went where they wished.

richard4u2 - suggest you keep your redneck views to yourself or get your facts straight For your information, Christianity is older than Islam. Judiasm is older than both. The Christian calendar is based on BC / AD ie. (Before Christ). The islamic calendar is based upon the birth of Mohammed. Therefore 2010 is the year 1431.

Therefore their laws are not 2000 years old.

The middle east had civilization way before anglo saxons (gardens of babylon, etc etc). The alphabet was created in Egypt. So if was for them, you wouldn't be ba able to read or write.
