Several years ago I hired a Hilux in Broome, thought I might drive out to Cape Leveque for a look. In less than 40 km along the track one bonnet support and the front bonnet lock had both cracked off.

Isn't this Lexus Gx460 essentially the same car as the hi spec new model Prados ?
So I presume sales of the Prado Kakadu in Australia will also be suspended.

Surely they would have tested the ESP under those scenarios?

I would be annoyed if that happen to such a expensive car.

Poor Toyota. I pitty them and their followers! Yeah right. They say that imitation is the best form of flattery. Keep trying. Take note Roothy of "toyota action" fame.
