No of threads on a "New Posts" page?

When I run "New Posts" I get 100 threads per page. This used to be 50 I think and for some reason has changed. Also, when I select a thread to read and then go back, I end up at the top of the New Posts search page, not where I was, which makes reading New Posts confusing.

This has happened just in the last week and occurs on two computers I use. Any ideas?

    Cheers.

Yes, that's it. It's not the 100 threads that's the problem, it's not returning to the last thread in the search that drives me mad.

    Which browser do you use?
I use both Firefox and Chrome.

Maybe the reason I don't have that problem is because of the browser I use or more likely because I use a slightly different technique.

Instead of clicking on a thread in the New Posts list, I right click and open it in a new tab. That way when I close the tab with the post I have been reading, I get back to the New Posts exactly as I left it.

In fact what I usually do is scroll down the new posts and open all the thread that I want to read in new tabs, so by the time i have read them all, it is time to refresh the New Posts to see if anything has been added in the meantime.

That technique seems quite efficient for what I wan to do. It mightn't suit everyone.
