    Compliance Plate - 2000 Range Rover Discovery

    Hi All,

    Just bought a weird beast. A 2000 Range Rover Discovery! That is a 90 Classic RR body sitting on 2000 Discovery mechanicals/chassis running on injected gas. It also has had the Discovery interior fitted.

    It was registered in QLD as a 2000 Discovery as that is the VIN stamped into the chassis.

    I am about to try to register it in VIC. The vehicle does not have the original RR or Disco compliance plate fitted but a QLD D.O.T. modification plate fitted. This is what they used in QLD to register it.

    Question: Will I be able to register it in VIC?

    is this the white one that was advertised for $7500 ? looked fairly clean

    Yep - that's the one - I bought it for a lot less in Queensland and drove it back. Just going through the hoops down here to get it registered.

    I saw it and was drooling, if i had the cash i would have bought it, is it as clean as the ebay pics suggest ? Very nice rig, the claasic looks of a rangie with modern mechanicals - cant lose. What suburb are you in Wozzle ?
