    looks like a C20?

short wheel base jobbie, lighter springs and diffs in it, they are a great rebuild project. I personally prefer the Chev Blitz as it had better diffs in it.

Not far enough along in my enthusiasm to know the fine differences.

    G'day Abaddonxi

It is a nice fairly complete F15/F15a and the cab looks fairly rust free which is a bonus, the price asked depends on how good it is mechanically

but it is a good basis for a resto, are yours Ford or Chev???

    cheers

When we had our farm up on the murray dad thought it was a good idea to launch our ski boat off the sandy beach , after the back started filling with water it was time to call in the big guns. Local garage had a 6x6 blitz (either GMC or studebaker i think) and he came and pulled the rangie and boat out, also tow started our oliver cletrac while he was out. Also when i was in Harare, our truck driver had hi own vehicle based there which was an ex WW2 MAN 6x6, massive thing it was with a big diesel 6 and huge portal diffs - the perfect overland vehicle.

Tidiest little Blitz I have seen in years. Looks pretty complete on the outside. A damn good restoration prospect.

Looks as if it has not moved for a while - has a couple of flat tyres, but I note it has plenty of spares!

I believe that my next door neighbour has one - was the local brigade's truck until a few years ago, he now uses it to stand by when burning off. Which seems to be out of fashion in this area, so I haven't seen it for a couple of years, but I think he still has it. I think it is a Chev.

    I wanna blitz too.
I wanna do a resto too.
I have seen a few that cockys have rotting away and as soon as a sale is mentioned they only see dollar signs and then negotiations break down and their blitz can rot to nothing as far as I'm concerned.
If anyone knows of any for genuine sale I'm interested.

Wishful thinking Uncle Ho, two broken Land Rovers.

More keen on something to drive rather than restore.

Apparently I've bought a new car every time a baby is born so looks like I'm up for something in the next few weeks.
