Hi,
I have just brought loads of stuff from John Craddocks in the UK. Oz price about $900, I got it for $500 including postage (after conversion). They took about a week to arrive.
Cheers,
Phil.
Hi,
Has anybody had experience buying service parts from the UK?
Just been looking through a LRO mag and Paddock Spares has Britpart oil filters for £1.45. I'm paying the equivalent of £5 for the same part here in NZ! Not much of a Land Rover scene/ culture here in NZ so parts are a premium.
Cheers,
CSK.

Hi,
Whats wrong with Britpart. I'm new to Land Rovers but I had the impression they were the industry standard for aftermarket LR parts?
They have the Coopers equivelant for £2.25 and the genuine article for £4.45.
Taking into consideration I change my oil every 5000 kms, which would be the best to go with?
All are cheaper than buying them in NZ (postage not included.
Are there any good Ausie sites to purchase quality Land Rover parts from?
There are BIG differences in filters and in general you get what you pay for. CooperS (note - with S, NOT cooper) make the OEM filters for LR, so the genuine or CooperS branded filters should be the same. However I, personally wouldn't touch a britpart branded filter.
Do you have a petrol or diesel? I assume from your name you have a CSK Rangie???
Fleetgard, Donaldson and MANN+HUMMEL also make very good quality filters - there may be dealers near you.
There are no AU dealers who can match UK prices. However I think there are a few threads on here where people have had problems with (Cr/P)addocks???
