    Is that a Landy in the distance in photo two? If so, then I agree, the second is a vast improvement .

    It would be interesting to compare pictures from 1878 to 1882, just to clear up some stories.

    I was uumm in Kabul in 86, the British were still hated for 1879 ( as if it was yesterday), out of the city the "west" was more accepted
